Through meditation such as meditation on loving-kindness, we can not only loosen the tightness of grasping and cause greater peace and joy in ourselves, but we can also help ourselves to reach and realize the enlightened nature of our mind. In meditation, we focus to retune and refine the mind and mental qualities, but we must bring to it our undivided attention and practice from the depth of our heart.
